So, I finally dropped Michel (and 6,000 lbs of luggage) off at Dulles Airport this afternoon for her flight to Sudan. I should have been sad and tearful, but frankly, she's been "leaving" for weeks and I think I speak for everyone when I say: "LEAVE ALREADY!" Sheesh! We all need to get on with our lives! Plus, I think there's a decent chance she'll show up here again in a couple weeks after she's been ejected from Sudan for causing some sort of international incident, likely involving George Clooney and cookies. Stay tuned...

Hope the in-flight movie is something grand. Can't wait to hear all about Sudan. Will you have to learn the language? On one hand, I can hear you getting all righteous because you'll be speaking Sudanese and nobody will understand you. On the other hand, you could probably just speak gibberish and call it Sudanese because we wouldn't know the difference.
Hope all goes well!
My first visit here, and the author is going to Sudan? Okaly dokaly, I read through some of the blogs and got hooked and signed up to follow along cuz she's a funny girl, and I will be back. I hope to hear stories of Sudan and WTF she's doing over there anyway.
Thank God! I was beginning to think it was all a figment of her imagination. Like you say Liz, Sheesh!
I suspect she'll be seeing at at least 3 inflight movies before she gets to her final destination.
Could I get a little sympathy here people!?! In flight movies are never as good as I think they are - and you never get the ones you WANT to see (but always find out it is offered for the people flying TO the US -- bastards!!!)
I did see Changeling though...good movie, but very messed up - I didn't see that one coming!
