I've Been Robbed!!!

So today I have the day off - the WHOLE day off (al-Hamdulilah!!) - and I head up to the roof to pursue my other favorite hobby besides my stupid blog and all your stupid blogs - reading and eating (preferably at the same time). So I walk out onto the roof and I immediately notice that something is different....its changed somehow.

I rush over to my favorite reading spot - kinda like a Flintstone's lounger built into my roof (see Exhibit A)

That's fine....So I walk around a bit more and then it hits me!!

Somebody Jacked my pile of bricks AND my sand dune !!!!

They're gone!! All traces of them are missing! WTF!?

Current photo sans crap....

The big mystery now is how the hell did they get those off the roof without me noticing and where did they put it. I can kinda see wanting the bricks (although they look a little shoddy-like) but is there really a market for the dirt?

May 2009 Photo of our Pile o'crap...

Plus, I'm a little sad because I had been working on that sand dune since mother's day! Now I gotta start all over again. You guys KNOW how lazy I am. It's probably never gonna happen.

My Dirt pile as of May 2009

So I stood there in outrage for at least twos of minutes and then went back to my hobby.

God Bless Kindle and Hit40 (for sending me the giant cheese balls)!

Bummer how dare they rob your comfort zone. You are the first person I know to have a Kindle. How do you like it? As well as you like your yummy cheetos?

God, you're a drama queen. Isn't that smoteable?

What were you thinking? Hording natural commodities is against the law in most places. You are lucky to have an American passport.

I love the Flintstone lounge chair. I gotta get me one of those!

I see only one problem with the picture though. Cheetoh's really don't lend themselves well to the art of multi-tasking. All they do is get cheesy orange shit all over whatever else you're doing, and that is intolerable to me. You need to switch to plain Ruffles with french onion dip. They don't get your books, or your Kindle, all smeared up with orange shit.

LMAO!! Thank you for the cheese ball photo. I realized the doggies probably did not want to eat them. I may send you some dog treats and dog toys before summer is over. And of course... Little Debbies!!!

Enjoy being Queen of the Sand Pile!!!

In case of embassy attack??? I now know to ask your favorite marine to go look under the sand pile.

I love the flintstone chair! But I think I'd need some cushions on it. And I'm so excited to see you have a kindle. I love mine, use it all the time. People are always asking me about it and looking at me like I'm nuts.
I'm sorry you got robbed...dont' you have some marines to take care of that?

...but you have giant Cheetos, so it's all good! Right?

I think you should send me your Kindle before someone steals it.

I'm totally not buying it. Those are a bunch of random pictures of somebody else's porches, and you're just trying to get our American sympathies. Admit it. And since you've got a Kindle AND cheesy balls, I'm totally not going to give you sympathy. Wait. Are those even YOUR cheesy balls? Whose Kindle is that REALLY? Hmmmm?

P.S. I think you are going to get smoted big time.

LOL at brick-burglars & sandsnatchers

btw
How easy is it to read a Kindle outside, in all that sunshine?

And I can see why you're on the roof if you're eating the orange thingees, since you have dogs. In our house if you eat anything cheese-y the dog drools - and no one needs to see that whilst snacking.

I love the Flintstone recliner! Hit 40 really has an obsession with those giant Balls! LOL!

When I saw your "lounger" I thought to myself, "Looks like something Fred FLintstone would be using." Then I read your photo description...great minds and all that!

Sorry about the mess on your roof.

So. You have cheetos over there in the sudan? And. Nice cement barker lounger.

Jeez, not only have they stolen your bricks but they've knicked your whitewash off the walls and even stolen the houses in the background and replaced them with slums. Must be aliens.

Just curious but is the Kindle as easy to read as it appears? Do you miss books at all?

As a librarian, I am always interested in the Kindle users and their thoughts about it. I have heard a variety of thoughts on it - I know I don't want or wouldn't like one but some readers are very happy with theirs.

Dang, I'm never going to catch up on all the posts made while I was gone... but I'm trying.

Don't you just love your Kindle? The best part is that because it ISN'T back lit, you can read at the beach or on a rooftop! I'm not even jealous that you've got the NEWER version and mine's all old and unnew. But get a case for it Michel, for goodness sake!
